These shorts have no draw string. I tried them and they stay in place very well. The shorts are quality material and I have always had good luck with LG shorts lasting. I have a 36 in waist and the XL fit snug like cycling shorts should. I would like these a bit better if LG added sticky material to the bottom inside of the leg.
