Brand new to triathlons and these were the first pair of tri shorts I've purchased. While at first skeptical about the small, flat chamois there have been zero issues with the giggle berries while riding (up to 40 miles so far) and minimal chaffing on the first run, which was fixed with a little body glide and have had no subsequent issues since on that end. I've never been much of a swimmer and have never worn jammers (or twinkie smugglers for that matter) before but these have been a game changer in the water for me. They feel fast and help bring the back end up with that fast feeling translating into fast-being on the stop watch. The compression is nice and the short length doesn't lead to any bunching. I haven't tried any other tri shorts but frankly don't see the need. I'm short and have thick legs (calfzilla, legatron, etc.) and am very happy with the fit and performance plus added vanity points for showing off the quads and being able to tan a bit above the knee.the short is great in most aspects, but for me is to short, i expected the legs to be at least 3 to 4 inches longer. this is the only aspect that for me is not right, i am 1.90mts high for a shorter rider might be ok, but for me is too shortThese are a great pair of shorts. At first I was a bit nervous swimming with these due to the padding. However, after several swims in a pool and in open water, I hardly noticed it and it felt just like a pair of jammers. Provides plenty of support for riding and everything stays in place. This is well worth a 5 star rating. The tri shorts fit very snug and work well when doing a triathlon. I had no problems w/rubbing as I went thru the different stages. They dry quickly.Noticed some of the stitching has started to tear, when ordering order one size bigger than normal so to sizes up.Fit a little tighter than I predicted. Waist band was not as wide as it appears in the picture, which is what I was wanting. I do like the leg cuffs though.Good shorts. Used for a couple adventure races and a bunch of training. I like the smaller chamois vs regular bike shorts for trekking and running, but a little extra cushion is nice on the bike.Really nice and classic.Came quicker then estimated. Fits like a glove and nice material to the touch. Not as stretchy as lycra cycling short material but almost like a cross between neoprene and lycra. Smooth like lycra but with a rubbery type of stretch and maybe no thicker then about 2mm i'd say.Waistband and leg grippers grip well and are comfortable. Comfortable pad too, hardly noticed it being there. Stitching doesn't rub, definately worth the money. Would certainly buy another pair if these ever got damaged or my body changed size.Great 2xu quality, great seller.
