This is hands down the best book I have read on marriage to date, as it explains God's design and identifies how respecting that can make a good marriage fun instead of work. Eric shares many valuable insights on why that design works for us. He explains the importance of female ejaculation and how intense orgasms for her are the bonding glue of marriage and how a man is fulfilled and satiated sexually by satiating his life mate and reseting her emotional/sexual system to be tuned into sex. Oxytocin. vaso-pression, dopamine, estrogen all come into play here to addict the mates to the pleasure they are designed to give each other. On the other hand "Neurosis (fear)and Narcissism (self-centeredness) go hand in hand to destroy a relationship." There must be trust and there must be submission by her and the man must be a real man for all this to work. A mature man who truly loves to love her. Marriage should not be hard, but filled with desire to fulfill each others sexual needs. I very highly recommend this book if your serious about improving your marriage it helped our marriage of over 35 years and helped us understand how to center on each other.
